The Bawley Point Area is situated between Ulladulla & Batemans Bay on the NSW South Coast & is a comfortable 2 hours drive from Canberra and 3 hours drive from the outskirts of Sydney.
The area is renowned for its many pristine beaches, excellent fishing & natural beauty.
It is surrounded to the north and west by State Forests & in the south by the Murramarang National Park. Fishing (beach, rock & outside), swimming, surfing & bush walking are the main activities.
Pigeon House Mountain in the Morton State Forest & the unspoilt Clyde River are only a short drive away & are popular with tourists as are Durras Lake & Depot Beach just south of the National Park.
The Bawley Point area contains a shopping centre with supermarket, camping/hardware, butchery, bakery, real estate agent, gallery/gift shop, hairdresser, newsagency,cafe/take-away food & liquor stores. There is also a local doctor.
There are also 3 general stores within the immediate area but no other commercial or high rise developments. Boat ramps are conveniently located at both Bawley Point & Kioloa beaches.
